Fall into Radiant Skin: Top Skincare Tips for the Autumn Season

It's that time of year again – Autumn has arrived, and with it comes the perfect opportunity to refresh your skincare routine. On one hand you will experience less sweat-induced breakouts, but the transition between warm and cold weather brings other skin issues.

Fall is here, and it's the perfect season for a fresh start! Fall is the perfect time to prepare for winter’s dry skin challenges. If you're ready to ditch toxic ingredients, embrace confidence, and unveil that lifted, firm, glowing skin you've been dreaming of, you're in the right place.


1. Wave Goodbye to Nasty Ingredients

Our Holistic Esthetician is on a mission to banish toxins from your skincare routine. Toxic ingredients can be as scary as a ghost in a haunted house! Swap out those chemical-laden products for natural, nourishing alternatives. Look for ingredients like aloe vera, rosehip oil, and green tea, which are like a soothing cup of herbal tea for your skin.

4. Hydrate + Moisturize Like a Pro

Really dowse your skin with a good quality toner that doesn’t contain drying ingredients, such as the Nourishing Facial Mist or Balancing Facial Mist.

For the much-needed emulsification, make sure to have a good quality oil serum that you can layer over top of your extremely moist skin from your toner to seal in that moisture.  Then over top of that layer a lovely balm to give that little extra that may be needed, one to try, Calm Balm.  I prefer this method as our skin is made of oils and accepts them very well.  You also get much closer to the raw state of the ingredient when using oils and butters, or waxes.

Or you can opt for thicker, creamier moisturizers that provide your skin with the extra hydration it craves during fall. 5. Exfoliate with Care

While exfoliation is helpful year-round, fall is the time to give it extra attention. Dead skin cells can make your complexion appear dull.  Gently exfoliate once or twice a week to reveal the fresh, glowing skin beneath. Be cautious not to over-exfoliate, as this can lead to dryness and sensitivity.
